Since the devastating tornadoes that his St. Louis in early 2025, business for Gibson Tuckpinting, LLC has grown rapidly. The owner, Kenny, reached out to me through a mutual friend and said he wanted a couple of videos showcasing the work he and his team have done around St. Louis. Kenny wanted something to show off on his website and to use for Facebook ads. He and I have worked on multiple projects together and I look forward to documenting the growth of his business as his projects get larger.
Amini's Galleria was in need of a promotional video to air on local television as well as on social media platforms. I worked alongside award winning Columbian cinematographer, Miguel Orjuela, to create this piece promoting their upcoming summer sale. Since then, Miguel and I have also put together the official advertisment video as well as captured the live announcement party of their newly built hot tub sales floor in Chesterfield.
The Midwest Bank Centre does their Give Joy campaign every holiday season. Members of the bank go out into the communities they serve and give out money to brighten up the day. We were out in the field to capture these heartfelt reactions and to get interviews with the employees to get to know more about the program and what it means to them.
Both of these projects were made by two close friends of mine. Mitch Stetson (Immersed) and Alex Scherer (American Dreams) are two very different stories, but both come from unique perspectives and came together better than we could have imagined. Mitch is another local St. Louis photographer and videographer who has worked for clients such as Tree House of Greater St. Louis and FASS Diesel Systems. Alex has gone on to be a Director of Photography in Colorado and has done high end commercial and documentary work all over the west coast.
This project will always hold a special place in my heart. This is my capstone short film project I made in my senior year of film school. This is by no means a perfect film, and if I'm being honest it's difficult for me to watch it without cringing, but being able to put an original story together and get two dozen people to help me bring it to life is a special memory I will never forget. I cannot thank every enough for the effort, feedback, time, and resources they put into helping me create Dead Ends. I owe each person listed in the credits many many favors.
